Our Larich Tamarind Paste is made from a sour, dark, sticky fruit that grows in a pod on a tamarind tree. Tamarind paste has many culinary uses and makes a great base for curries, chutneys, sauces, marinades and stews. Tamarind's natural acidity makes it a great marinade for meat, because the acid can break down and tenderise tougher cuts.
